1月16日讯今天是北京男篮中锋周琦的29岁生日，中国篮球之队官博送上生日祝福。

周琦1996年1月16日出生于河南省新乡市，2014年1月他加盟新疆队，征战CBA联赛。2016年6月24日，周琦在NBA选秀大会上以第二轮43顺位被休斯敦火箭队选中。

2017年4月7日，周琦帮助新疆男篮以总分4-0击败广东男篮，夺得2016-17赛季CBA联赛总冠军，他也凭借出色的发挥荣膺了当赛季CBA年度最佳防守球员。同年7月8日，正式签约休斯敦火箭队，成为继姚明之后第二位效力休斯敦球队的中国球员。2018年12月18日，被火箭队裁掉。

2019年8月14日，周琦重回新疆队，并在2019-20赛季成为CBA最佳防守球员、入选最佳阵容二阵。2020-21赛季，周琦入选CBA最佳阵容一阵。2021年8月，周琦宣布退出2021-22赛季的CBA联赛。 2023年8月18日，中国篮协官宣，周琦加入广东宏远篮球俱乐部。2024年8月29日，周琦正式加入CBA北京首钢男篮。

本赛季至今，周琦出战11场比赛，场均24.5分钟，得到12.5分6.9篮板1.8助攻1.1抢断1.9盖帽，三项命中率为53.8/52.6/54%。
